Zap Protocol Beta 2.0 Development Update

Last week, the team worked on several initiatives in parallel to move up the release deadline for the new frontend.

Oracle Network

Oracle network architecture design documentation was worked on along with Zap Miner and relevant oracle contracts.

Splash Page

The new splash page design was shared with the community over the weekend to provide feedback before production deployment. This update will replace the existing site and is set to release this week.

Zap Labs

The team added legacy features with proper routes to the sidebar. The legacy features are now nested under a Zap Labs subheading. Initial planning for the subdomain conducted. The team conducted interviews and onboarded two new research interns.

Dashboard

The team worked on incorporating new and legacy features into the soon-to-be-released dashboard redesign. The approve and allowance contract calls were added.

Block Explorer

The date picker for the Block Explorer was enhanced to ensure easy transaction look-up within the Zap Protocol network.

NFT marketplace

The architecture of our NFT marketplace is expanding. We have merged our NFT card displaying information such as image, provider, price design into the develop repository for internal testing.

Token Creation

The token creator infrastructure was updated so that the provider field is auto-filled when the user is already a connected provider.

Token Wizard

Smart contract logic was connected to the new dashboard to initialize provider title, deploy tokens, and mint tokens within the Zap Protocol platform.
